DENISE H. COOPERMAN, PRESIDENT
FurnitureFindex is the vision of interior designer Denise H. Cooperman, President.
Denise has been in the home furnishings industry for more than 25 years. Her experience
includes owning a retail design studio, design director for a chain of four stores,
head of a six-year commercial expansion project and as a buyer/senior designer for a
furniture store in Philadelphia. Her clients have included several local celebrities including
members of the Philadelphia Eagles, Flyers, and TV personalities.
MICHAEL L. BRACHMAN, PH.D., CIO
Our IT department is managed by Michael L. Brachman, Ph.D., President of Vega
Applications Development, Inc., a software design firm specializing in database development,
custom application programming, data-driven web site development and technical
consulting in a wide variety of industries. Dr. Brachman has been programming
for over 40 years and has developed literally hundreds of applications for Fortune 500
companies as well as those substantially smaller. He has written several books within
the computer industry and has also published articles in Data Based Advisor, FoxPro
Advisor, FoxTalk, Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, Brain Research, Science
and others.
STEVE GOLDBERG, SENIOR ADVISOR
Steve has over 30 years of senior management, marketing and merchandising experience in retail, e-commerce and direct marketing as well as extensive experience in global brand development. Most recently, Steve was Vice President at ABC Home, the iconic Home Furnishings retailer where he was responsible for Merchandising, Marketing, Store Operations and Advertising.
Steve began his career at Allied Stores, one of the largest Department Store groups in the US. and became Vice President and GMM of the Home business. He then joined American Express, as Vice President and General Manager of the Merchandise Services Group. Over ten years, he helped to build the unit into a highly sophisticated direct to consumer business that achieved over $700 million in sales. He then served as President of the Luxury Group at Hanover Direct, a public direct marketing company. He also served as President of the Lifestyles Group of Redcats, a $1.6 billion catalog and e-commerce division of Pinault Printemps Redoute (PPR), Paris, where the Group quickly became the fastest growing business within the firm. Throughout his career, Steve has also held leadership roles in other key retailers and marketers such as, Bloomingdales, and Le Gourmet Chef.
